Our client a leading food wholesaler and distribution business based in Northamptonshire, have a requirement for a Senior Management Accountant to join their business. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a forward-thinking food business with an outstanding reputation.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following
- Debtor Analysis.
- Authorise payments.
- Weekly Result production, including top customers, product information and summary.
- Produce weekly estimated results / Commodity report.
- Inter depot payments (reconcile P/L to S/L)
- Run various query reports.
- Analysis on weekly accounts
- Review P/L entries and Currency Revaluations
- Updated standing journals – Review and amend where necessary.
- Reconciliations – Cost Suspense a/cs
- Check Debtors/Creditors Est purchases.
- Control Account Reconciliations
- Reconcile inter-companies and settle balances internally.
- Produce and distribute monthly estimated results.
- Liaise with auditors.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £55,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience).
