System Implementation Specialist - GRC

We are now recruiting a new Project Manager to take responsibility for the timely and effective selection and implementation of a new Governance, Risk and Compliance 'GRC' system, in support of AJ Bell's strategic objectives.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful system implementation to partner with our Finance, Internal Control, Risk and Internal Audit teams to support us as we select and implement a new GRC system. The new system will support our enterprise risk management, internal audit and internal controls monitoring activities.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, you will play a key role in managing the project and ensuring its successful delivery.

This project is predominantly technology led with an emphasis on risk, control, audit processes and automation, therefore a proven track record of successful system implementations is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading the planning, execution, and implementation of a new GRC system across the Finance, Internal Control, Risk and Internal Audit functions.
  • Developing detailed project plans that consider all stages of the selection and implementation process, from initial analysis and design through to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Establish and maintain effective and trusted relationships with project stakeholders and external 3rd party suppliers.
  • Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Regular reporting on project status to sponsors, stakeholders and executive management.
  • Identification and management of project risks, issues and dependencies.

About you

  • Proven experience in a Project Management role and successful track record of end-to-end system implementation.
  • Analytically minded with close attention to detail, and have the drive and ambition to challenge convention, and to make a difference in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with a variety of stakeholders of all levels.
