We are delighted to offer a 12-week placement opportunity for a Band 5 Administrator at Health Outreach, located at 70-74 St Helen's Street, Ipswich, IP4 2LA. The ideal candidate will possess strong prioritisation and organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and essential experience with SystemOne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all information is entered promptly on Trust systems
  • Executing strategic plans
  • Providing chaperone support to clinical staff when necessary
  • Offering support to the Health Outreach team
  • Organising and coordinating professional meetings
  • Recording staff sick leave and annual leave
  • Providing administrative support to senior staff
  • Participating in the selection and recruitment of administrative staff
  • Ensuring building requirements are fulfilled
  • Actively supporting clinical staff in managing service development and quality assurance
  • Updating administrative policies and procedures
  • Contributing to the development of health outreach systems and processes
  • Ensuring effective performance within own role and that of the team/department
  • Promptly recording and signing of invoices
  • Conducting staff annual appraisals and objective setting
  • Ensuring all staff receive comprehensive training and attend Trust mandatory training
  • Overseeing and participating in the induction of new staff, students, and volunteers
  • Adhering to all Trust Policies and Procedures
  • Managing the purchasing of supplies for the unit
  • Supporting the team in the deployment and appropriate use of IT
  • Providing training and support to the team

Additional Duties

  • Completing mandatory training in accordance with Trust policy and procedures
  • Participating in the staff appraisal process
  • Staying informed on all matters relating to Trust policy
  • Providing management supervision where appropriate
  • Collaborating with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians, and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services.
