This is a newly created position for an experienced Accountant to join a leading UK-wide professional services firm at their head office in Dorking. Due to continued growth and expansion, my client is looking for a Payroll & Finance Officer to join their busy account teams in an instrumental position. This role is based in the Dorking area of Surrey and pays £45,000.
To be considered for this position you will have a wide range of generalist accounts skills and have the confidence & experience to manage weekly & monthly tasks independently.
As an experienced Accountant, you will ideally have experience in the following key areas:
Accounts: Monthly supplier payment runs, month end reporting, management accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, weekly bank reconciliation, and credit control
Payroll:
Monthly payroll, sales commission calculations, overtime & on-call calculations, P45 & P46 as required, preparation of P11D's & P60's, exporting salary BACS payments, and calculating Class 1A National Insurance contributions
Working alongside the Finance Director you will receive training & support where needed, and be in a position to help grow the company and grown this position.
My client is in the Dorking area of Surrey and is offering a salary of up to £45,000. This role will be office-based 5 days per week for the probation period with some hybrid flexibility afterwards.
