HR and Business Support Officer

Prospectus are proud to be supporting a leading Kinship care charity in England and Wales offering kinship carers financial, legal, practical and emotional support and understanding, from the moment they need it, for as long as they need it. Expert advice, information and guidance helps with complicated and stressful decisions that so many kinship families have to make. They are now recruiting for a temporary HR and Business Support Officer, to join their team, initially for 4-6 weeks.

As a HR and Business Support Officer, you will provide support to the Interim Head of People & Culture to ensure the smooth delivery of an effective HR function, as well as facilities induction for their London-based staff. You will contribute to the employee life cycle by providing administrative support to the HR team, including supporting with onboarding and offboarding of employees and will also deliver effective day to day facilities' support in respect of the London office. This will include, setting up of meetings, rooms and refreshments, being the point of contact for deliveries and outbound post and parcels, checking and maintaining office supplies/ equipment and general ad hoc duties as may reasonably be requested.

To be considered for this role, you will have previous HR and facilities experience, ideally with a within a charity or similar setting. This is a hands-on role, and they are looking for candidates who are able to work independently on your own initiative, demonstrate effective organisational skills and are flexible, responsive and responsible. Candidates that have experience updating HR toolkit are encouraged to apply, however this is not essential.

Please note, this is a full-time role, 35 hours per week. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, 4 days per week on site, at their offices, based in Vauxhall, with the option of working from home, 1 day per week (either a Monday or Friday)
