HP4 Recruitment are currently looking for a Paint Technician to join a Large Accident Repair Centre in the Newcastle area.
As a Paint Technician, you will:
- Perform High-Quality Paint Repairs: Including colour matching, blending, and finishing, to restore vehicles to factory specifications.
- Prepare Surfaces for Painting: Sanding, masking, and priming as needed.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Ensure that equipment and tools are properly maintained and used safely.
- Communicate Effectively: With team members, management, and customers to ensure a clear understanding of repair needs and expectations.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
About You:
- Experience: Previous experience in automotive painting and refinishing.
- Proficiency: Skilled in colour matching and mixing, using computerized paint mixing systems if applicable.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality paint finishes.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive repair processes and best practices.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
