Reed Accountancy are working with a returning Reading based client, close to Junction 11, looking to recruit a permanent Finance Assistant to join their team.
Working within an established team and focussing predominantly on Accounts Payable, this role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and has experience working within an Accounts role with knowledge of Excel.
Duties of the role include,
- Set up and verify new subcontractors with HMRC.
- Set up and process ad hoc payments.
- Processing invoices against orders and managing delivery notes
- Manage invoices for approval and carry out monthly statement reconciliations.
- Conduct mid-month and month-end cheque runs.
- Process employee expenses claims and payments
- Post Nominal Ledger Journals as necessary.
- Manage Council Tax, NNDR, and NHBC Fees.

Working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 day working from home. The office offers free onsite parking and close to local bus routes
