Cover Supervisor Needed in Central Southampton for September (Secondary School)
Prospero Teaching is looking for a reliable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in central Southampton. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting the educational journey of secondary school students. Starting in September, you will work alongside an experienced team in an environment where every student is respected, listened to, and actively involved in their education.
Position Details
- Location: Central Southampton
- Position: Cover Supervisor
- Type of Work: Supervising classes during teacher absences
- Start Date: September 2024
- Contract Type: Temp to Perm/Permanent
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
- Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, plus occasional parents' evenings
Experience, Training, and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
- Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential
Eligibility
- Right to Work: Must hold the right to work in the UK
- DBS Certificate: Must hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- References: Provide two professional child-related references
