PE teacher - Oldham - September

Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified PE Teacher for a Secondary school in the Oldham area. The role will start after the summer break and will be for the full academic year, until July 2025.

The school is has a very supportive PE department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing regular CPD throughout the year.

The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. It would be advantageous if you have had experience coaching a school team of cricket, football or rugby.

Minimum rate of pay GBP153 per day

Hours 8.15am - 4pm Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS or equivalent

Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)

Up to date Prevent Awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
