12-month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave, commencing January 2025
Salary c£40,000 per annum (negotiable)
We are working with an award-winning, Lexcel accredited, top tier Legal 500-recognised firm, employing around 100 staff over 4 offices in the West Midlands. We are looking to attract a fully qualified Conveyancer (Solicitor, FCILEx or CLC) on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months, covering maternity leave, to commence in January 2025.
The role will involve:
- Managing a high-volume caseload of residential property sales
- Liaising with clients, third party professionals and colleagues by telephone, email and face to face
- Working to tight deadlines
- Managing the conveyancing process from start to finish
- Use of the land registry portal
- Updating a legal case management system
Suitable candidates will have
- Fully qualified status (solicitor, CLC or FCILEx)
- 2–3 years' experience of managing a caseload of conveyancing transactions from instruction to post completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive outlook
- An enthusiastic and committed approach to work
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, which will commence in January 2025. It's a full time position which is fully office based.
