We are seeking an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join their dynamic Finance Team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare income and expenditure reports, coordinating with external accountants for service charge accounts preparation.
- Manage and resolve queries with external accountants.
- Ensure timely completion of year-end service charge accounts.
- Assist Property Managers with budget reviews.
- Issue periodic service charge demands and ad hoc recharges to tenants.
- Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, and suppliers to resolve financial queries.
- Support annual audit processes.
- Assist in the collection of service charge arrears.
- Prepare and maintain client reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- Facilitate the setup of new properties on the system and manage handovers.
- Participate in ad hoc projects within the Accounts team.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Previous experience in service charge accounting is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with Qube software is desirable.
- Team player with the ability to assist colleagues as needed.
