Job Title: Network and EV Commissioning Engineer
Location: London
Hourly rate: £20 - £25
Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday- Friday (flexibility needed)
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Responsibilities:
- Commission and configure network equipment, charger equipment, and electrical metres to set up analysis of infrastructure.
- Verify and test charging equipment for electric buses, providing necessary electrical guidance to IT Engineers setting up the IT side of the bus depot.
- Identify and resolve any electrical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the charging infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and effective commissioning and troubleshooting processes.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess and maintain the functionality of the charging equipment.
- Record and document all activities, generating reports as required.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practises related to network and EV charging equipment commissioning.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in commissioning network equipment and electrician
- RAMS
- Strong knowledge of electrical metres and their setup for infrastructure analysis.
- Ability to provide electrical guidance to IT Engineers.
- Proficient in fault finding and repairing electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot charging equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety standards.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
