Description

Assistant Management Accountant:

  • Support the Management Accountant in preparing reconciliations and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process bank transactions, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Identify and resolve queries related to reconciliations and management accounts, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads and other teams to ensure smooth financial operations and effective communication.
  • Ensure all financial processes adhere to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and introduce automation.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Profile

Assistant Management Accountant:

  • Accountancy Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, with hands-on experience in balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts, and financial analysis.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to process transactions accurately, spot discrepancies, and maintain high standards of data accuracy.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage competing priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
