Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of the immigration system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation in all areas of immigration law, including but not limited to visas, citizenship, asylum, and deportation defense.
- Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documentation.
- Represent clients in hearings before immigration tribunals and courts.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about their cases and managing their expectations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law.
- Strong knowledge of immigration regulations and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research and use of legal databases.
- Commitment to providing high-quality client service.
Desirable Skills:
- Additional language skills.
- Experience working with vulnerable clients.
- Familiarity with immigration law software and case management systems.
