Accounts Manager

Our client REED Practice are excited to be working alongside a reputable Accountancy Practice who are currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager. They are looking for experienced qualified ACA and ACCA to join their ever growing team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Be the go-to expert for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance and satisfaction.
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team, fostering a culture of respect and teamwork.
  • Craft and review financial statements and tax returns with precision.
  • Champion client success, providing tailored business advice and innovative solutions
  • Reviewing of VAT return preparation
  • Filing documents with HMRC and Companies House on client's behalf.
  • Dealing with correspondence for clients.
  • Providing business set-up services for clients including incorporations and HMRC registrations.
  • Providing value added business advice including ways to minimise tax liabilities and maximise profits.

Job requirements:

  • A confident communicator with a positive outlook and professional demeanour.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a talent for multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experienced in accountancy practice, with a solid track record in accounts and tax preparation.
  • Ideally AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified, with a strong IT and social media skill set.
  • Experience of working at an Accounts Manager level in an accountancy practice.
  • Previous experience in accounts preparation for limited companies and unincorporated businesses.
  • Previous experience in preparing tax computations and returns for limited companies, unincorporated business, and individuals.
