Role Overview: As a Fire Door Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety standards of the buildings we manage. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect fire doors at various sites, recording all findings on our specialized app. This role requires a strong understanding of fire door legislation and fire safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily fire door inspections at various sites in London.
- Ensure compliance with fire door safety legislation.
- Perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, stretching, and manual handling.
- Travel to multiple sites within London.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to be on your feet for more than 8 hours a day.
- Capable of performing manual handling tasks.
- Good understanding of fire door legislation and fire safety standards.
- Willingness to travel to various sites across London.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fire door inspections or a related field is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to record accurate information.
- Good communication skills for reporting and liaising with site managers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
