Search Recruitment are partnering with our Edinburgh based client to recruit an Accountant on a part-time (1-2 days a week), permanent basis. Within the role, you will play an important part in managing financial operations and financial reporting. Salaray: Circa 50k - 60k full time equivalent.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Prepare annual accounts for review and presentation.
- Deliver quarterly VAT returns.
- Support and manage cash flow with further financial analysis as required.
- Prepare financial reports to support decision making.
- Advise and consult senior leadership on the implementation of new controls to improve efficiency.
- Deliver other related duties as required to support the company's financial objectives and strategic goals.
Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
- Qualified Accountant.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of Excel.
