Education People are an established independent education recruitment agency based on Whiteladies Road ( Clifton area) in Bristol.

We place primary, secondary, SEN teachers and support staff into schools across the Southwest, covering day to day and long-term and perm contracts.

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our established team and manage the established secondary desk. The desk is very busy with longstanding clients and excellent relationships with schools and teachers. It requires a quick-thinking person to continue the running of it.

This is working in a fast-paced office environment which is suitable for someone adaptable who works well under pressure, as bookings can come in at short notice and you have to think on your feet!

The role is very rewarding, and you get a real sense of achievement through helping schools with staffing needs and teachers and support staff get work.

A great way to learn about the world of recruitment whilst being in the rewarding and friendly industry that is education. You will be working in a fully supported office, where your colleagues will help with all aspects of your role so you will be able to focus on growing your desk. With the right attitude this will be achievable very quickly and you will be able to hit the ground running.

The role includes:

  • Maintaining the busy secondary desk by filling school bookings
  • Identify and source candidates through various channels.
  • Screen and interview potential candidates.
  • Call and email clients on a daily basis and speak with candidates to fulfil their requirements.
  • Building rapport with clients and candidates- new and existing
  • Confirming bookings with candidates and clients
  • Make changes and decisions at short notice.
  • Business Development

Working Hours on a rota basis:

  • Monday-Friday 7am-4pm/8am-5pm 1 day WFH
  • One evening on call till 9pm & 1 weekend in 4 (Sunday)

Experienced required:?

  • Previous sales experience and happy to make outbound sales calls.??
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Strong admin background desired.
  • Worked towards deadlines and targets.
