Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Remote role with only one day per month attending the office in London (your travel will be expensed for this day)

Salary - Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)

Our client, a fantastic charitable organisation, is looking to recruit a software developer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and focused Software Developer to closely with the Technical Lead. The purpose of this role will be to enhance and improve their website and bespoke back-office policyholder system to ensure that these meet the changing needs of the business. They are looking for a competitive, high energy, motivated individual who enjoys a challenge whilst acting with integrity at all times.

Key Duties -

  • Maintain and enhance their back-office policyholder system and customer-facing website.
  • Develop new computer systems, when appropriate.
  • Provide technical analysis, design and development capabilities.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure each solution meets the needs of the business.
  • Automate testing of application changes.
  • Implement one-off or regular reporting and data processing activities.
  • Contribute to our development and project delivery processes.

Person Specification

Knowledge, skills and qualifications

  • C#
  • MS SQL Server
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • One or more of the following:
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • WPF
  • SSDT
  • REST APIs
  • Azure services, including Azure SQL, App Services, and Message
  • Queues
  • Mobile app development
  • CI/CD

Business Skills

  • Sound presentation skills to both small and large audiences of varying occupational groups.
  • Strong customer service attitude with the ability to build lasting and productive business relationships.
  • Understanding of the customer experience.
