Salary / Rate of pay: £24,000 to £26,000

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular business within the aerospace industry and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Fulfilment Administrator to join their team.

Salary £24,000 to £26,000

Annual Leave: 23 days holiday

Working Hours: Mon - Thu 0900-1700 Fri - 0900-1600

This was a combination of speed of getting around the computer, whether it be our systems or excel. Also, attention to detail, things were being entered incorrectly when transferring data from a document to our system. There has also been lack of communication re. workload with management and with the team. In this role communication is key. Some further details about the role:

  • Monday - Thursday 9-5 Friday 9-4
  • Chance to work from home up to 2 days a week permanently or adhoc, once probation has been passed
  • 25 days holiday (3 must be used at Christmas leaving 22 days to use as you like)
  • One Friday PM off each month (finish at 1pm)
  • No set uniform - generally casual but as long as you look smartish.
  • Does not have to drive but it is preferable due to supplier and client meetings that may need to be attended
  • Have to be good at excel
  • Have to be used to working fast paced and prioritising own workload as well as working as a team
  • We have a new system that was implemented in July. We are currently using this system as well as our old one so there are multiple systems to be taught and learnt
  • It would be ideal for someone to have had previous experience in working with both a sales team and a procurement team. If not, both, then at least one of them.
  • The role would suit someone who is interested in moving into Sales at some point and wants to build up a foundation of skills

To support the Sales Team in providing our Clients the best possible level of service through our administration duties

  • Be responsible for the entering of supplier responses on to our CRM system
  • Be responsible for completing all Client Order Books and liaising with Clients on any queries
  • Be responsible for entering client orders on to our system
  • Act as a contact between our Clients and the Procurement Team when Supplier orders are delayed
  • Number of queries raising stock cards
  • Number of queries on Client order entry
  • Number of forward order queries

Number of quote entry queries

  • To sort external emails and delegate tasks to relevant people
  • To transfer the details from the supplier quotes onto the Matrix
  • To challenge any supplier quotes that need further information
  • To chase suppliers for information on behalf of the sales team
  • To complete all Client Order Books
  • To enter client orders
  • Attend periodic Client business review meetings
  • To deal with all airway bills/tracking details
  • To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required
  • To liaise between procurement and our Clients to manage any late deliveries or short shipments
  • To work with the Procurement team to answer all calls in to the building in a timely manner
  • To report against the K.A.R.'s for own area of responsibility
  • To support colleagues in the Sales Department as required
  • To support colleagues in the procurement department as required

Personal Skills and Experience

  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, participants and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively as a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly outlook, word, excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to self manage, prioritize work under pressure to tight deadlines
