Field Service Engineer
Location: Midlands
Salary: £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (dependant on experience). Earnings can reach circa £70,000pa with OT.
Metalis are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. As a company committed to excellence, our client are looking for individuals who share our passion for delivering top-notch service and solutions to our clients. All engineers will be required to cover UK regional areas.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field service repairs and maintenance on a variety of construction equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in plant machinery.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
Requirements:
- Valid driving license (essential).
- Previous experience as a Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer is essential.
- Proven experience in servicing construction/Plant equipment.
- Must be flexible to work weekend's. Weekend is paid at an enhanced rate.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the mechanical engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and engines.
