Key responsibilities:
- Support the growth and development of children through play-based activities, tailored to their individual needs.
- Design and maintain engaging and stimulating learning environments that encourage exploration and creativity.
- Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's development and daily activities.
- Develop and deliver appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Adapt activities and approaches to meet the diverse needs of all children, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunities for everyone.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity among children, including cultural, linguistic, and individual differences.
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Early Years/ Childcare development
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery.
- Familiarity with the EYFS framework
- Awareness of special educational needs and how to support children with diverse learning requirements.
