Our client a leading player in the lighting sector is seeking a highly skilled Sales & Customer Service Manager to join their dynamic sales office team.
This pivotal role is crucial in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As the Sales & Customer Service Manager, you will oversee a team of Customer Service Representatives, providing mentorship and guidance while managing day-to-day operations to ensure the efficient handling of customer enquiries and issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the customer service department, ensuring effective management of customer inquiries, order processing, issue resolution, and adherence to service standards.
- Handle the distribution and updating of new price lists both internally and externally.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products by liaising with carriers.
- Maintain CRM files for mail shots, email promotions and other communications.
- Oversee back order and sales order monitoring to manage inventory effectively.
- Prepare data sheets for new catalogues and generate turnover reports for internet traders.
- Support credit control processes, including order release and back order management.
- Release orders for early warehouse openings and update daily stock feed reports.
- Assist with quotations and presentations for bulk sales and manage relationships with major Representatives and key customers.
