Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplined building services consultancy who provide their specialist expertise across projects of all sizes. They are on the lookout for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their management team and lead their mechanical department.
Role responsibilities include:
- Produce mechanical designs, reports, and feasibility studies
- Providing mentorship to help the more junior members of staff professionally develop
- Manage department projects and workload, as well as checking designs of more junior staff members
- Identify new areas of business and secure new work, whilst carrying out fee proposals
The ideal candidate will have:
- A BEng or MEng within a mechanical engineering or building services discipline
- 5 years minimum experience within a Mechanical design engineering role within the building services industry
- Proficiency in industry standard software such as Revit and IES
- Ideally have a CIBSE accreditation or working towards chartership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
