Role Overview:

As a Key Stage 1 Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. You will create a nurturing classroom environment that supports the social, emotional and academic development of young learners. Your role will involve planning and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum, assessing and monitoring student progress and collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • 6 months teaching experience in the UK, preferably Key Stage 1 setting.
  • Enhanced DBS(Child Workforce) is desirable.
  • Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Develop and implement a creative and varied curriculum that covers the core subjects.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and track pupils progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.
