Senior Bookkeeper wanted for clients in Bristol
About the Role:
The role is to work with our clients in their business, this could be within a variety of industries including professional services, manufacturing, retail/wholesale, construction, technology or media. We're looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Finance Manager to look after the day-to-day accounting, streamline the accounting processes, and help move the business forward, on a part-time basis.
About You:
You should be a qualified and experienced Finance Manager with experience working in growing SMEs.
Ideally, you are already self-employed, with at least 2 days of availability per week.
Your expertise should include:
- Customer invoicing and sales ledger management
- Credit control and debtor reporting to directors
- Supplier invoices and purchase ledger management
- Drafting payment runs for approval
- Supplier reconciliations
- Bank postings and reconciliations
- Expense and credit card management and reconciliation
- VAT returns
- Payroll (possibly) and pension administration
- Month-end journals including depreciation, accruals, and prepayments
- Input into cashflow forecasts
As this role is two days a week (self-employed basis) it could work alongside other client work
Rate of pay: £22.50 per hour
