Our client is looking for full-time, permanent Logistics Coordinator
Salary: £25,000 - £29,750 pa DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 - 17:00)
Location: Edenbridge
Benefits : 21 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays , Pension Contribution
Logistics Coordinator duties and responsibilities:
- Booking and co-ordination of UK and Overseas logistics in and outbound
- Packaging of goods for safe onward shipment in cartons or on Pallets
- Preparation of domestic & export documentation
- Customer contact to confirm and update logistics arrangements
- Loading Shipments
- Receiving deliveries (inbound)
- Unloading deliveries
- Control goods in ensuring all deliveries are accurate and compliant
- Supplier con tact for problem solving
- Driving a counterbalance Forklift (licenced would be preferable)
Logistics Coordinator skills and experience:
- A minimum of 1 year's work experience in operations, understanding Export
- documentation.
- Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise between multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- Holding counterbalance and reach truck licence - preferable
- Great team player & willing to get involved in all areas of the business when needed
- Physically fit enough to work in a role where the vast majority of the day is standing and requires some lifting.
