We're looking for a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager to join the Marketing department at the National Trust. The role will lead a team of talented data analysts and marketing specialists to measure and improve cross-channel marketing campaigns and supporter journeys. You'll be an influential leader, setting the vision and strategy for your team and delivering insight to the organisation about our audiences and how National Trust marketing is performing. Your contractual location will be our head office at Heelis in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.

What you'll be doing

Working within the Supporter Data & Customer Journeys team, you will be responsible for delivering marketing analytics and audience analytics to Marketing and a range of business stakeholders across the Trust.

You'll develop and build your team to leverage our new marketing and data platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Intelligence, Tableau and Snowflake) and support them in producing detailed analysis, identifying trends and patterns in audience behaviour and telling the story in a simple, actionable way that helps business stakeholders understand our audience's needs. You will guide and implement our marketing segmentation strategy, enabling the delivery of personalised customer journeys.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, building on the foundations that have already been established, ensuring the right access to data for marketing and other areas of the Trust. You will work with IT and Data teams in ensuring data quality standards and compliance with data privacy legislation.

  • Experience as an organised, inspiring team leader who has developed a team of data analysts
  • In-depth knowledge and experience delivering customer analytics and customer segmentation strategies
  • Expert knowledge of cross-channel marketing analytics, channel performance and attribution
  • A structured and disciplined approach to scoping and delivering analytics and insight
  • The ability to condense analysis into actionable insight to inform and influence business investment decisions
  • The ability to synthesise and communicate complex information effectively to non-technical audiences
  • Experience of databases, data models, SQL and marketing and digital analytics tools
  • Expertise in enabling data-driven customer journeys and experiences
