About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in somebody else's life. Our client will be living in university halls and will require assistance with many aspects of daily life. The most important thing for our client is being able to have an open and honest relationship with her Pas. Conversation should flow naturally and you should encourage her to live the best life possible:

  • Personal Care
  • Health Care
  • Social Support
  • Daily Living
  • Housekeeping / Domestic duties
  • Commuting

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

About our Client

Our client is seeking a companionship within her PA and aspires to share similar interests such as watching films (specifically Harry Potter), stand up comedy and RPG/puzzle games. Furthermore, our client participated in wheelchair dancing for 11 years and is potentially looking to get back into it again, meaning a positive and open- minded PA is required. The client considers herself introverted and henceforth likes to stay in and read books in her own space or watch Youtube rather than go out, so having a PA to respect her space is highly valuable.

As written by her ...

"The qualities that I would like my PA to have are been able to have a laugh and not take things too seriously (I really like a lot of stand-up comedy and improv comedy.) Patience, as I can be quite slow at doing things unfortunately.

To be a PA of mine you do not need an interest in chemistry. However, I may need you to help me scribe some of my homework assignments...therefore you need to have good English language skills and basic maths skills will most likely be useful as well.

I love to read sci-fi and fantasy books and I play a lot of video games and board games. I also play and run Games of Dungeons and Dragons. In my free time I like a lot of different types of music. I like to go out to the Theatre and cafes."

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Clean Automatic UK driving licence (Essential)
  • Confident driver as you will be expected to drive the client's van when they return home
  • Excellent sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously
  • Physical fitness, patience, and a caring nature
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Mature and responsible attitude
  • Fluent in English
  • Clean and tidy appearance

Application Process: To apply, please submit a cover letter describing your interests and explaining why you would be a suitable candidate for this unique and rewarding position.
