An exciting new vacancy has arisen for an outstanding care provider based near the Plymouth area.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Care Manager to join the team. We are happy to consider candidates making a step up or an established Care Manager looking to work for an amazing organistion!
You will be a great team player, an excellent communicator, well organised and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
The main duties;
- To assist with individual referrals from the Care Coordinators, when required.
- In conjunction with the Registered Manager, to provide support to all staff members within the group, to cover in the manager's absence, which will include answering emails and dealing with any complaints that may arise.
- To ensure that all legislation is adhered to as required by CQC.
- To meet with the Directors on a regular basis (usually monthly), and provide reports as required.
- To assist the Registered Manager and In-house trainer with any managerial supervision, training and appraisals where necessary.
- To assist the Registered Manager in monitoring the performance of all care staff and to assist in initiating appropriate action should standards fall below an acceptable level.
- To assist the in ensuring that staff receive on going advice and support to maintain the progressive development of the team.
- To assist in resolving staff problems according to the location's grievance procedure, in conjunction with the Registered Manager.
- To ensure that all staff are being monitored on a monthly basis with regard to utilisation, availability, training, supervision etc.
- Ensuring that budgetary control is maintained, ensuring that maximum income is maintained and all expenditure is monitored and recorded.
The package for this role will be negotiable on experience but we estimate this will be in the region of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus great benefits and potential career development opportunities for outstanding individuals!
