Finance Officer
- Hourly Rate: £17.90 PAYE / £22.99 Ltd Umbrella

We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer to support our Business & Finance Manager. This role is crucial for maintaining IT systems, processing and recording payments accurately, and contributing to the effective running of the Business Support Team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within an educational institution or local authority education department.
Day to Day of the role:
- Process invoices/payment schedules on behalf of the SEND Team as appropriate.
- Support the Business & Finance Manager with the administrative systems and further development of them in the SEND Team.
- Take responsibility for archiving and file management within the SEND Team.
- Assist the Business & Finance Manager with specific data requests.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in all financial transactions and records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Finance Officer.
- Essential experience of accounts payable within an educational institution or local authority education department.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
