Credit Controller | Ballymena | £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a large and successful wholesale company based in Ballymena. Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a full time (35 hours per week) permanent opportunity, office based and offers a competitive salary.
The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the Credit Control function, and will assist when required with sales invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
The maintenance of 4 Debtors Ledgers.
Responsible for allocating receipts, following up outstanding accounts, and keeping on top of any account queries etc.
Responsible for all cash received records, ensuring all monies received are recorded in the correct cashbooks/spreadsheets, bank accounts and nominal codes
Dealing with all queries, making the required phone calls to customers, and dealing with any credit notes required
Able to work along with the Sales and Despatch Departments
Assisting with the maintenance of sales ledger (producing invoices and raising orders etc.).
Month end reconciliations
Assist with month end reports and run statements
Quarterly Vat Returns
Maintaining Partnership Accounts & records
Support finance team with general duties as required
Essential Criteria:
Proficient in Excel and ideally Exchequer software
Excellent organisational skills with the utmost attention to detail and follow up
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines in an efficient manner
At least 3 years' experience working in a similar role
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Strong interpersonal skills
Reliable and professional manner
Work Pattern
Office based role, Monday- Friday 9am-5pm with one hour for lunch.
