Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide legal advice and support on various aspects of special educational needs, including decision-making, policy, and procedure.
- Manage a varied caseload of SEND Tribunal appeals.
- Conduct advocacy in case management hearings and final hearings in the First Tier SEND Tribunal.
- Work independently, managing your time and caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of work.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to the team's success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Lawyer with the right to practice in the UK.
- Good technical knowledge and experience in special educational needs law.
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload of SEND Tribunal appeals.
- Strong advocacy skills and experience in case management and final hearings.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organisational skills and a team player mentality.
- Exceptional communication skills for building strong client relationships.
