Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of fire doors across various locations within the designated area.
- Identify and report any non-compliances or defects in fire door installations.
- Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and findings.
- Provide clear and concise reports on the condition and compliance of fire doors.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with essential information regarding their fire door safety.
- Stay up to date with the latest fire safety regulations and best practices.
Training:
- Full training will be provided, including enrolment in the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) training programme.
- On-the-job training with experienced inspectors to gain practical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel within the designated area.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills for report writing and record keeping.
