About the Company:Join a dynamic and growing tech company in Exeter! Hays are currently working alongside a Finance Director to source a interim Financial Accountant for a finance team which consists of six dedicated professionals, and we are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to support our continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights
- Support the audit process
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements:
- Ideally fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), but we will consider candidates who are Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
