Reed Accountancy & Finance are working with a reputable company in Hythe who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis to help with increased workload.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Creating sales invoices from customer orders and ensuring they are correct
- Verifying invoices against despatch notes and confirming goods have been delivered
- Recording payments to the ledger and matching them with remittance advices
- Reconciling customer accounts and following up on outstanding debt
- Supporting with purchase ledger tasks Issuing credit notes when neede
To be considered for this Accounts Assistant role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
