Business Analyst
- Hourly Rate: £23.49 - £32.30 PAYE or £29.29 - £40.52 Umbrella
- Location: Remote (with potential visits to Norwich or London offices)
- Job Type: Interim (until March 2025)
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team as part of a wider transformation process across our organisation. This role is crucial for mapping new business processes to technical teams to support ongoing projects effectively. The Business Analyst will play a key role in documenting change requirements and translating them into tangible business solutions, ensuring successful business outcomes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Own the investigation and documentation of change requirements and associated analysis to help translate them into actionable business solutions.
- Gather, validate, and document business requirements through various methods including facilitating workshops.
- Capture and record workshop outputs including process maps, requirements, risks, issues, assumptions, and benefits.
- Support the prioritisation of business requirements using analytical, quantitative, and qualitative techniques.
- Produce ISO 9001 standard work instructions (SOP) and develop business process maps and associated documentation.
- Present findings to key stakeholders and manage business analysis work-packages as defined by business stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to define solutions that support business improvement, including benefit analysis, options appraisals, and business cases.
- Support the development of training materials in collaboration with the Training team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from the business.
- Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that impact the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in process mapping and requirements gathering.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and capture detailed and accurate requirements.
- Experience in producing and maintaining ISO 9001 standard documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining business process maps and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments and their impact on business processes.
