Role & Company:
One of the fastest growing consultancies in Central London invites you, a Senior Transport Planner, to join one of the most dynamic and lively consultancies in London, where personality is king!

The developments you may help bring to life include, but are not limited to:

  1. High-rise and cutting edge residential projects
  2. Modern commercial and retail building infrastructure
  3. Educational and art institutions and museums.

You will be joining a well-established infrastructure team in a high-spec office. The office, that they designed themselves, is modern and open plan with several floors, situated a stones throw from Old Street Station. You will be working in a team of approx. 15 and will collaborate with the rest of the company, which is a total of over 180, granting plenty of social opportunity.

As an employee, you personally will have the chance to contribute to the company's culture and direction. The company has recently become an Employee-Owned Trust, meaning each team has a representative who will feed back to the trust on queries or ideas for the direction of the business.

The team feel is enhanced by weekly whole office meetings where engineers and technicians have the opportunity to discuss their projects and offer help and guidance to each other.

Role: As the first dedicated Transport Planner in the company, which until now has focused on building structures and building-related infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to have a fledgling team built around you.

Responsibilities: Production of technical deliverables to support new developments, which may include:

  • Transport Assessments;
  • Transport Statements;
  • Travel Plans.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Project ownership and management;
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and engineers;
  • Data analysis and research;
  • Client liaison.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of the above, attained through experience at a UK consultancy.
  • Knowledge of related software including Junctions (ARCADY/PICADY), LinSig, etc.

Please apply with your CV if you're interested, or contact George Banks on for further informal discussion.
