Reed Accountancy Oxford have secured a part-time Accounts Administrator role with a growing and developing client based in North Oxfordshire, who are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their small finance team. The role has come about to provide additional support as the workload has increased. Although a part-time offering of 25 hours, this role will offer flexibility in the days these hours can be completed.
Job Title: Accounts Administrator
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, full time equivalent
Benefits: Company pension, free parking, on-site parking.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our Finance Director to create and analyse financial reports, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, managing invoices efficiently.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify that transactions are accurately recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
- Reconcile credit cards.
- Create payment files for suppliers.
Person specification:
- Proven bookkeeping experience with a solid understanding of accounting payable/receivable principles
- Strong data entry skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ideal candidate will have experience working with XERO accounting software. (Desirable not essential)
