Transaction Services - Finance Administrator

We are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator on a permanent contract basis, based in Bristol.

This role will work as part of the Transaction Services Team delivering OTC, P2P, cash management and compliance activities for Project and Head Office companies. There will be extensive day to day interaction with SPC Managers, Finance Managers and other members of staff in the Transaction Services Team.

Finance Administrator Responsibilities

  • Raising draft sales invoices in connection with projects for approval by the Finance Manager responsible and then the final invoice, including dispatching this to the customer.
  • Collation and processing of sales quotations for all project variations (capex and revenue), as sales orders, including the population of the SAP "sales BOM's" in preparation for the release of the sales invoices once works have been completed.
  • Raising sales invoices in connection with intercompany recharge process.
  • Extensive liaison with SPC Managers and Finance Managers to ensure that all parties are aware of the status of orders and quotes and when sales invoices have been dispatched to customers and are due for payment.
  • Performing the credit control function for Project and Head Office companies as appropriate 
  • Maintaining customer master data and providing customer statements and other reporting as required.

Finance Administrator Requirements

  • SAP experience in OTC, PTP and cash and bank receipt and payment processes.
  • Experience of PFI projects and the variation process.
  • Understanding of the cash flow requirements of PFI projects.
  • High quality accountancy trainee
  • Must be a self-starter/completer.
  • Successful DBS check of relevant level
