Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a well established Smethwick based organisation who are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their busy friendly team.
Duties and tasks will include:
- Raising of purchase orders through Officenet work place software and following through to delivery
- Management of all on site plant requirements including hiring, off hiring, maintenance of info tracker, processing invoices, monitoring and reporting of expenditure against budget
- Liaise with existing and new suppliers regarding price, availability and lead times of products
- Handling supplier issues/complaints
- Supporting Project Management department with site order requests
- Saving various documentation to relevant system folders
- Providing cover for colleagues who are on leave
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
- Excellent attention to detail & administration skills
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages and experience with a work place software package although not essential
- Have ability to multi task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Be able to manage time and workload accordingly
- Ability to work independently on own initiative and also as part of a team as required
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5pm.
