We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join an established Taunton-based company on a full-time permanent basis. This role is hybrid with the possibility to work from home 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities in this Credit Controller role include:
- Cash Collection & Debt Management: Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets. Manage the collection of all debts in line with agreed credit terms.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues, both internal and external, affecting debt collection.
- Relationship Building: Communicate effectively with B2B & B2C clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Reporting: Monitor aged debt, prepare reports, and escalate issues as needed. Update and send client-specific debt packs.
- Decision-Making: Make informed decisions on fees, additional costs, and scoping issues. Exercise judgement on case escalation and client negotiations.

Skills & Competencies required for this Credit Controller role:
- Strong Excel skills (LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables)
- Previous experience in Credit Control either as a stand alone Credit Controller or as part of a role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills to handle difficult cases.
- Ability to analyse data and develop strategies to minimise debt.

In exchange for this Credit Controller vacancy, you will be able to work from home 2 days per week. There is some flexibility around start & finish times and the client also offers 22 days annual leave + bank holidays along with some other great benefits.
