Reservations Consultant
The post holder will ensure that high levels of service are maintained as they handle calls and emails from agents for holidays all over the world. They will provide a friendly & informative service while booking holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with enquiries and booking holidays to a variety of destinations worldwide
- Turning enquiries into bookings
- To offer suitable packages and ancillaries within the requirements
- To maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- To achieve monthly sales targets
- To use personal travel experience and product knowledge to sell appropriate holidays
- To follow up on all enquiries made
- Cross-selling to alternative holidays
- To undertake any other duties or projects commensurate within the nature of the role
Personal Qualities/Skills:
- At least 2 years' experience in selling holidays
- Experience using a GDS, preferably Galileo
- Excellent geographical knowledge and experience in a sales/travel environment
- The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- To have a professional manner
- To have a passion for travel
- To have a basic knowledge of standard PC systems
- Basic knowledge of ABTA/ATOL regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Proactive & enthusiastic

- Team player
Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00 + Saturday 10:00-17:00 (rotational basis)
Salary: £36,000 OTE (Basic + Uncapped Commission + Bonus)
Once fully trained, this position can be offered as a hybrid role of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
