Head of Data - Manchester - £120,000
The Company:
Lorien Global are seeking a Head of Data to join one of Manchester's most iconic brands. As my client move through an exciting time for their technology platforms, their focus is now on their next major milestone, replatforming their data solution.
The Role:
In this role you'll take a comprehensive assessment of the current platform to produce a data strategy for the future of data across the global business. Working closely with the Technical Director you'll be responsible for strategy around how my client collect, manage and utilise data.
Focussing on Architecture, Innovation and Strategy this role is pivotal to the success of the global development plans, as such it's a great opportunity to step in and guide them in this journey. The modernisation goals will see you consider new Cloud Services and AI, Machine Learning solutions.
The Responsibilities:
- Experience delivering transformation of large and complex database platforms
- Strong technical background in relational (SQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) data
- Proven experience outlining and implementing Data Governance strategies within regulated industries
- Excellent experience leading a team of data professionals to deliver against strategic targets
- Familiarity with cloud based data solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ability to implement innovative Machine Learning and AI techniques
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of stakeholder
