Systems Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer specializing in RF equipment production. This role involves project delivery, mechanical design, and new product introduction (NPI). The successful candidate will collaborate with hardware, embedded software, production, system test, and product management teams to integrate and deliver advanced RF products. Experience with RF products and practical skills are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical aspects of RF equipment projects from concept to completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and adhere to timelines and budgets.

Design and develop mechanical components for RF equipment using CAD software (SolidWorks) to BS-8888 standards. Ensure designs meet functional requirements and conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing.

Manage NPI activities, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production. Develop and implement NPI documentation and resolve manufacturing issues to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Integrate mechanical and electrical designs with the hardware team. Ensure software and hardware compatibility with the embedded software team and optimize manufacturing processes with production teams.

Assemble, test, and troubleshoot RF equipment. Stay updated with advancements in RF and manufacturing technology to improve products.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.

Experience in systems engineering within the RF equipment industry, with hands-on RF testing and troubleshooting experience.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team.

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and a solid understanding of RF principles and products. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, ISO, MIL-STD, DEF-STAN) and manufacturing processes.
