We believe in the importance of providing tailored support to meet the diverse needs of our learners, and our SENCo plays a vital role in ensuring that every child can achieve their full potential.

What Academics are looking for is:
- A qualified teacher with a strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Proven experience in a SENCo role or similar position within a school setting.
- A compassionate leader who can inspire and support staff, pupils, and parents.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A commitment to promoting an inclusive school culture and advocating for the needs of all pupils

As a SENCo you will be responsible for:
- Oversee and coordinate the provision of support for pupils with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision, making adjustments as necessary.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for supporting students with SEND.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies regarding SEN.
