GREAT Trainee Analyst LINKED TO INVESTMENT SKILLS - Henley Oxfordshire

Supporting a wonderful Trainee Analyst candidate with a background in an Investment Financial Services Role skilled and ideally have the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) or willingness to undertake IMC or other investment related qualifications required linked to Analyst. The company is Epic along with the lovely Team linked to it and a great opportunity.

Main Purpose of the Role:

  • To provide analyst support in the Investment Team
  • To maintain & update key Investment Team models Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of investment opportunities
  • Manage & update existing quantitative models and databases including stock selection models, risk management models & fund position databases
  • Internal & external fund reporting across a range of investment team responsibilities including risk management, price checking, stress testing
  • Assist with updating Procedures Manual & ensure that it remains up to date
  • Assist with meeting preparation
  • Compile & provide regular management information
  • Keep third party data sites updated with performance information
  • Proxy voting record keeping
  • Compile factsheets monthly
  • Monthly performance updates
  • Money laundering form requests
  • Fund invoices

  • Willingness to undertake study • Ability to manage own workload and work within a small team • Knowledge of business processes, standards, policies and procedures
  • Experience within the Financial Services Industry
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excellent knowledge of Excel) and ideally Adviser Office, Volume and Pulse dealing system
  • Investment Management Certificate (IMC) or willingness to undertake IMC or other investment related qualifications
  • Training will be provided where required

Additional Responsibilities :-

  • To assist the Heads of other departments in any tasks relating to the development of business
  • Any other duties which may reasonably be expected and which fall within your capabilities or general area of responsibility
