Job Title: Support Practitioners (Multiple Positions)
Service: Learning Disabilities
Location: Multiple (Lockerbie, Dumfries, Castle Douglas, Newton Stewart)
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £12 - £13 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to service users by creating and following care plans specific to the individual.
- Support the service users with travel within the service area assigned to you (car, public transport)
- Follow policies and procedures including Health & Safety regulations and risk management plans.
- Administer medication
- Build and maintain relationships with service users and their families
- Maintain confidentiality
- Contribute to service development
Experience/Qualifications:
- SVQ is desirable but not essential
- Experience providing support to individuals in a social care setting i.e residential, school, community setting
- Experience working in a lone environment
- Share and demonstrate strong care values
- You will be required to undertake a PVG Scheme Record application*
