I am recruiting an Accounts Assistant for my west established client in the Thame area. As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant with various accounting tasks;
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Utilise Sage 50 to process financial transactions.
- Assist with both purchase and sales ledger
- Credit Control
- Process company expenses
- Update and reconcile bank accounts.
- Support in generating financial reports and statements.
- Handle general administrative tasks related to accounting.
Skills and Experience
- Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
- Bookkeeping and VAT experience
- Knowledge of Sage 50 or similar accounting software
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
This is a full time role working 9am to 17.30pm Monday to Friday. Holiday allowance 20 days plus 8 bank holidays. Free onsite parking (due to location own transport is required), contributory pension scheme. Salary £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
