Accounts Assistant

I am recruiting an Accounts Assistant for my west established client in the Thame area. As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant with various accounting tasks;

  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilise Sage 50 to process financial transactions.
  • Assist with both purchase and sales ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Process company expenses
  • Update and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Support in generating financial reports and statements.
  • Handle general administrative tasks related to accounting.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
  • Bookkeeping and VAT experience
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 or similar accounting software
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.

This is a full time role working 9am to 17.30pm Monday to Friday. Holiday allowance 20 days plus 8 bank holidays. Free onsite parking (due to location own transport is required), contributory pension scheme. Salary £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
