Are you an Excel whiz with a knack for numbers and a passion for precision? Do you have experience in estimating or manufacturing? Elevation Recruitment, on behalf of our Bradford client, is seeking a detail oriented Estimator to join their team. This role offers the flexibility of remote working but requires regular visits to sites as well as occasional travel.
Key Estimator Responsibilities:
- Calculate and propose costs and profit margins using the in-house software, ensuring all data is current and accurate
- Prepare and coordinate bid submissions for regional and global contracts, presenting estimates to key stakeholders
- Maintain and update the pricing database, ensuring timely and accurate information is available for the Customer Service and Commercial teams
- Identify and suggest improvements to make order management and routing more efficient
- Work with Sales to develop product samples, layouts, and designs for customers
- Attend customer meetings both on-site and off-site as required
- Run reports when needed
Ideal Estimator Candidate:
- Strong Excel skills are a must
- Experience in estimating, purchasing or manufacturing
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities
- Excellent attention to detail
